Hi, I’m Yevhen
I’m originally from Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. Back home I worked as a lawyer, but photography was always present in my life — quietly inspiring me, waiting for its moment. When the war forced my family and me to move to Canada in 2022, everything changed. That’s when photography became more than a passion. It turned into a way of connecting with people, building new roots, and finding beauty in the everyday.
Storytelling approach
My style is flexible and adaptive — every couple, family, or individual I work with is unique, and each moment is impossible to repeat. For me, photography is about creativity and freedom, blending gentle guidance with candid storytelling. I want the experience to feel easy, joyful, and inspiring, so you can simply be yourself in front of the camera.
Where to Find Me
I’m based in Calgary, Alberta, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Banff, Kananaskis, and the Rockies. Over the years, I’ve photographed across Canada — from Alberta to Newfoundland & Labrador — as well as in Europe, including Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands. Travel is a big part of my life, and I love discovering new places and turning them into timeless backdrops for people’s stories.
Whether it’s a mountain elopement, an intimate family session, or a destination wedding abroad, I’m always ready for the adventure.

Favorite projects
Some of my favorite projects are the ones that feel the most personal and genuine. Photographing weddings always inspires me — from intimate elopements to full celebrations, each couple brings their own story and emotions. I also truly enjoy capturing families, where laughter and small everyday moments turn into timeless memories.
Couple sessions are another favorite — whether it’s a romantic sunset walk or an adventurous trip to the mountains, they always feel full of energy and connection. Portraits let me focus on individuality and character, showing the beauty of a single person in their own unique light. And of course, photographing kids brings pure joy — their honesty and spontaneity make every photo session unforgettable.
